I consider Pre-show meeting as an appointment set with a client for a show regardless of how big or small the event is. It is a form of courtesy and professionalism when it comes to services based business on my case, the entertainment business.

Whenever my group or I alone would be invited to perform for a certain event, it must always be ensured that there is a personal meeting with the client to settle the logistics. A phone call for me isn’t enough unless the client had already met you before and settled the deal therein.
